The Alpine Green Train travels from Domodossola to Bern, skirting Lake Thun, and our tickets also allow you to take part of the itinerary by boat.

It is a journey of about 2 hours in the heart of the Alps passing through the Rhone Valley which will allow you to admire the landscape with the Jungfrau peaks in the background.

The Green Train travels along the century-old Simplon and Lötschberg lines. It climbs into the mountains offering panoramic views through large windows on the sunny terraces of Valais and the Bernese Oberland mountains with Kandersteg. On the north side of the Alps, the descent towards Lake Thun begins.

You will skirt the lake before reaching Bern, the federal capital of Switzerland with its UNESCO-listed old town.
