Schedule for your day with the Bernina Red Train and the guide:
- Half an hour before the departure of the Bernina Red Train, you will meet the guide at the Rhaetian Railway station in Tirano, in front of the carriage reserved for your trip (the Rhaetian Railway station is next to the Italian Station).
- The train leaves the charming town of Tirano to begin a breathtaking journey, both in winter and in summer, on gradients of 70 per mille (without cogwheel rack) up to an altitude of 2253 m asl, unique in Europe.
- You will arrive in St.Moritz after about 2 hours and 30 minutes of travel. For those who wish, you can visit this famous Swiss town located in the Upper Engadine and founded in the 19th century, located at 1856 m asl in the center of the magnificent landscape of the Engadine lakes.
- In the afternoon you will return to Tirano by bus with a stop to visit the village of Poschiavo.
