Important Travel Documents
Ensure a smooth border crossing by having the correct documents ready:

Adults: A valid identity card or passport is required and must be presented to local authorities upon request.

Children (Under 14 - Italian Minors): Italian minors under 14 years old must be accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. They also need an accompanying declaration issued by a competent authority (Police Headquarters in Italy or a consular office abroad).

Animals: Animals crossing the border must be registered in their country of origin and travel with a valid EU pet passport. A readable microchip and a rabies vaccination, valid from 21 days after the vaccine or booster, are mandatory. Traveling with Your Dog
Large Dogs: A ticket costing 50% of the 2nd class fare must be purchased for your dog. If you wish for your dog to occupy a seat, it must be placed in a suitable container. Please contact our booking office to issue the ticket.

Small Dogs: Small dogs (up to 30 cm height at the withers) traveling in a pet carrier, basket, or similar container can be transported free of charge as hand luggage.

Arrival Time: We advise arriving at the station at least 15-20 minutes before departure to ensure a relaxed boarding process.

Cancellations & Changes: You can cancel or modify your ticket up to 48 hours before its validity begins. Please contact our booking office by phone or email at info@treninorosso.it.
Fees: A cancellation/modification fee of €10.00 per person applies.
Non-Refundable Surcharge: Please be aware that the Bernina Express surcharge is never refundable.
