DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR EXPATRIATION:
Adults: It is necessary to travel with a valid identity card or passport, to be presented when requested by the local authorities.
Children: Up to the age of 14, Italian minors can leave the country only if they travel accompanied by at least one parent or guardian with an accompanying declaration issued by a competent authority (Police Headquarters in Italy, consular office abroad).
Animals: animals crossing the border must be registered in the country of origin and travel with their own EU passport. Readable microchip and rabies vaccination are required, valid from 21 days after the vaccine or booster. For more details, we recommend you to consult the website of the Swiss Federal Office of Security.
Dog tickets:
50% of the 2nd class ticket price must be paid. They can be placed on the seats only in suitable containers. Contact the booking to issue the ticket
Small dogs, measuring up to 30 cm in height at the withers and traveling inside pet carriers, baskets or other suitable containers, can be transported free of charge in the cars as hand luggage.
