A flexible proposal to combine the Bernina Train with an overnight stay. You will have the freedom to choose the Red Train departure time that you prefer and the overnight stay will be in the a 3/4-star hotel in Tirano or nearby that you choose.
The BERNINA TRAIN connects Tirano, in the Italian Valtellina, with the Swiss St. Moritz
Sit back and relax. The train takes care of the rest. You will pass in front of the Basilica of the Madonna di Tirano, you will see the picturesque Poschiavo. You will breathe the scent of the woods, pass over bridges and viaducts, admire impervious gorges and wild streams. The train overcomes gradients of 70 per thousand, something unique in the world, reaching an altitude of 2253 meters.
After this trip, you will not be surprised that the section of the Albula and Bernina Rhaetian Railway has belonged to the Unesco World Heritage since 2008

Departure from Tirano with special train at 17.41 and arrival in Preda at 20.11
Preda (1789 meters above sea level) is the starting point of the famous toboggan run that leads to the village of Bergun (1386 meters above sea level). With a difference in altitude of about 400 meters. Total length of 6 km is considered the longest illuminated toboggan run of Europe, in the magical Albula valley north of St. Moritz.
The red train (Albula line) from St. Moritz to Thusis-Chur will run the shuttle between Bergun and Preda allowing two unforgettable sleds.
Return from Bergun at 11.40 pm and arrival in Tirano at 1.50 am.
It is necessary to bring the sled (bobsleigh are not accepted, but only the classic wooden sleds)
