Day 1: Arrival in Interlaken

Program  of the cheese Train:
The day begins with a ride on a GoldenPass-MOB scenic train from Montreux or Zweisimmen. In Château-d’Oex, you will discover the secrets of making a Swiss alpine cheese. At the restaurant Le Chalet, the farmer makes one “Le Chalet Bio” cheese per day from 400 litres of fresh milk over an open wood fire. The demonstration is done in a traditional way, over a wood fire. Enjoy your delicious fondue in this rustic setting. Above the restaurant on the first floor, you will find the GoldenPass MOB trains miniature railway, which will make brightly shining in the eyes of all visitors. To remind you of this excursion, a “souvenir bag” will be given to you in the restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Musée du Pays-d'Enhaut, where you can discover the treasures of local crafts and the art of paper-cutting.
