Day 1: Zermatt and the Matterhorn
- Morning: Take the scenic train from Brig to Zermatt (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes). This famous alpine village is entirely car-free.
- Excursion: Ride the historic Gornergrat cogwheel railway up to 3,089 meters for the most iconic view of the Matterhorn and its surrounding glaciers. Alternatively, take the cable car to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise.
- Afternoon: Stroll through Zermatt's old village center to see the traditional sun-blackened wooden chalets, then take the train back to Brig for the evening.
Day 2: The Great Aletsch Glacier
- Morning: Take a short train ride from Brig to Fiesch (35 minutes). Catch the cable car up to Fiescheralp, and transfer to the final cable car up to the Eggishorn peak.
- The View: From the viewpoint, enjoy the ultimate panoramic view of the Aletsch Glacier, the longest ice flow in the Alps and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
- Afternoon: Take the cable car back down to Fiescheralp for an easy, scenic high-altitude hike toward Riederalp before returning to Brig by cable car and train.
Day 3: Andermatt and the Devil's Gorge
- Morning: Take the train from Brig to Andermatt (approx. 1 hour 40 minutes) along the scenic route shared by the Glacier Express.
- Devil's Gorge: Take a short walk from Andermatt into the dramatic Schöllenen Gorge to stand on the legendary Devil's Bridge.
- Afternoon: Ride the cable car up to the Gemsstock summit (2,961 meters) for views of over 600 alpine peaks. Return to Brig in the late afternoon

Your included journeys allow you to board all Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn trains, moving freely between Zermatt, Brig, Andermatt, and Disentis. You will also have free access to BLS regional trains along the stunning route connecting Kandersteg, Brig, and Domodossola – including the famous Green Train of the Alps (Trenino Verde delle Alpi) – and you can use the SBB (FFS) trains that run through the Rhone Valley, linking Salgesch, Visp, and Brig. Finally, free travel extends to the bus network as well: you can travel without limits on all PostBus (Autopostali) lines in the Upper Valais, as well as on local buses serving the Leukerbad region and the Visp-Leuk route.
