Please arrive at the Rhaetian Railway station in Tirano at least 30 minutes before your train's departure to meet your guide/assistance. Your guide/assistance will be waiting in front of your reserved carriage. The Swiss Rhaetian Railway station is conveniently located right next to the Italian train station.
The train will leave the charming town of Tirano to begin a truly breathtaking journey. In both winter and summer, you'll travel on steep inclines of up to 70‰ (7% grade)—a route unique in Europe that climbs to an altitude of 2,253 meters above sea level without the need for a rack-and-pinion system.
You will arrive in St. Moritz after a scenic 2.5-hour ride. You have the option to join your guide for a tour of this famous Swiss town, founded in the 19th century. Situated at 1,856 meters above sea level, St. Moritz lies in the heart of the stunning Engadine lakes.
In the afternoon, you will return to Tirano on your reserved train at your scheduled departure time.
