Half an hour before the departure of the Bernina Express, you will meet your guide at the Rhaetian Railway station in Tirano, in front of the carriage reserved for your journey (the Rhaetian Railway station is located next to the Italian Station).
The BERNINA EXPRESS leaves the charming town of Tirano to begin a breathtaking journey, both in winter and summer, tackling gradients of 70 per mille (without a rack-and-pinion system) up to an altitude of 2,253 meters above sea level—a feat unique in Europe.
You will arrive in St. Moritz after approximately two and a half hours. Enjoy the freedom to explore the town at your leisure before gathering back at the station in time for the return journey
At 4:30 PM, departure with a reserved Grand Touring coach/bus towards Tirano.
At approximately 5:30 PM, a one-hour stop will be made to visit the historic village of Poschiavo.
Arrival at the Tirano Bus Terminal (behind the railway station) is scheduled for approximately 7:00 PM.
