You will make a pleasant and comfortable journey while you can devote yourself completely to the contemplation of the places. In winter, when the valley is transformed into a renowned cross-country ski trail, the landscape is enchanting.

Val Roseg is a splendid valley where nature, as indeed in many areas of Switzerland, still seems intact, as well as the alpine fauna. You can easily approach the typical animals of our mountains: chamois, deer, roe deer, squirrels, marmots in the hot season and, if you’re lucky, even the fox, as well as many types of birds that approach without fear.

The excursion foresees the departure from Pontresina in the morning, after about an hour you will arrive at the plateau of glacial origin where you will make a stop. In the afternoon you will return to Pontresina with horse-drawn carriages.
The travel lasts about 60-70 minutes.
